There comes a time when you have had enough. When you’ve reached the point of change. It’s like something completely change within you where you go from a back and forth kind of feeling not really sure to being completely sure and there is no going back.
I’m fascinated by this point of change it’s like something klicks within you. You might have been trying for years, months, weeks to make a decision to come to this point of change and when it’s finally there your on the other side so quickly and you know what is right for you.
You’ve probably heard people say maybe you’ve even said it yourself “you know the answer” and we really do, don’t we? So what makes us linger in doubt and fear or even freeze in the process not making any decision or change at all?
Your mind can be clouded by thoughts, beliefs and fears from your past experiences or even from social norms and people around you. It can be hard to seperate what is truly yours and what belongs to someone else. Your mind and body is trying to keep you safe and find safety in what it already knows through experience. If you have been through something traumatic or experienced something deeply it is very likely that you’ve created unconscious patterns that keeps repeating and gives you the feeling of being stuck.
So what can you do to bring more clarity into your life and to be able to tap into that inner knowing of what is right for you and what is not aligned.
First step is to get to know yourself. What is your values, beliefs and fears? Ask yourself as many questions as you can and ask the big questions.
Then start to observe your own patterns. What belongs to me, how do I react in situations and relationships and what norms and expectations do I have on myself or follow.
Now you’ve brought awareness to your foundation you’ve built consciously and unconsciously. You can now see patterns and ways you react and relate to the world within and around you. And this is where change is made. When you become aware you have a choice and you can choose if and what you want to change and transform. What you really are changing is your perspective and your relation to your experience.
Changes is inevitably and a process that contains life itself. It can bring up grief, hope, relief, fears, joy, compassion, forgiveness it can bring the whole spectrum of emotions. Change is natural, natures way and we are a part of nature. To resist change is to resist life.
Let your curiosity lead you to discover who you are. There is so much to be found within yourself. You have all the answers and everything you seek is right there, within you.
Love, Sofie
