A story, the reason behind all the colours that will be added to my brand.
So I tried to fit in. To be beige and stylish. To choose the perfect font and the perfect shade of sand. The visuals of my brand. I’ve done this a thousand times.
Trying to fit in.
I then went on to decorate the treatment room without thinking about colours. Ending up with soft pink. Popping pink. Yellows and whites. Greens and blues. Well if I could I’d choose many colours. I love colour.
If you ask my sisters they will tell you that I dress in an unexpected way. It’s always something that pops out. Bright colours, a fluffy sweater or a big print dress.
I then went on to reflect on my visuals and felt bored myself. How boring I thought. I’m not inspired. I feel limited without colour.
So why am I trying to dim my light I thought? My colours. To fit in? To fit in to what is expected of me? Thoughts like, I need to be more mature and grow up. I can’t have a brand with colours. It looks childish. No one will take me seriously.
Well here is the truth. I am colourful. I am a colourful soul. I like to shine bright and bring in joy and playfulness. I love to add colour to a white surface. I am an artist of life. I love wearing colour. I love expressing colour. I love the vibrations of colours. I dream in colour. I believe our world is full of colours.
Beige is beautiful and amazing, it's just not me..
So no matter how hard I try to be beige it just won’t work. There will always be colours because I am colourful and I can’t be anything else but me.
So here is to you being your most authentic self! Here is to bring more of you into everything you do in life! Here is to YOU being YOU!
